Terms of Use

Whisper has not launched yet. These terms describe the app as it is built for its first release and will be reviewed before launch.

1. Agreement

Whisper is provided by [operator name and address to be confirmed] ("we"). By creating a Whisper account you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Whisper.

2. Accounts are for parents

• The account holder must be an adult and the parent or legal guardian of the children who use it.
• You create a profile for each child. Children use Whisper through these profiles and should not create accounts of their own.
• Keep your password and Parent PIN private. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including changes made with your Parent PIN.
• You can sign in on a limited number of devices and remove devices in the Parent Area.

3. What Whisper offers

Whisper offers narrated stories with pictures or video, read-along subtitles, bedtime features and optional language practice. Some stories are free. Others need a subscription.

Stories, pictures, sounds, characters and the app itself belong to us or to the creators who license them to us. You may use them for your family's personal, non-commercial listening inside the app. You may not copy, record, resell or redistribute them.

We review stories before publishing them and choose them for children. We may add, change or remove stories at any time, for example when a licence ends or a story is found to be unsuitable.

4. Subscription

• A subscription unlocks the premium stories for every child profile on your account while it is active.
• You buy and manage the subscription through the App Store or Google Play, under their terms. The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown before you confirm.
• The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
• Only a parent can buy: Whisper asks for the Parent PIN before every purchase, and children never see prices or a checkout.

5. Fair use

Do not misuse Whisper: no attempts to break into accounts or our systems, to get around the Parent PIN or subscription, to copy content at scale, or to use Whisper in a way that breaks the law or harms others. We may suspend or close an account that does so.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Whisper available, but it may sometimes be interrupted, for example for maintenance. Downloaded stories keep playing without a connection. We may improve or change features over time. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using Whisper at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). Deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription. Please cancel it in the App Store or Google Play as well.

8. Liability

Whisper is a storytelling app. It is not a formal education, medical or therapy service. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from the use of Whisper. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Vietnamese law.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If the English and Vietnamese versions differ, the Vietnamese version applies. Questions: [contact email to be confirmed].
